For DISTANCE TO HORIZON all you need is ... 1. HEIGHT OF OBSERVER = 1.760 MILES 2. RADIUS = 3,959.00 MILES ______ 1. DISTANCE  TO  HORIZON  = square root ((height of observer) squared) + 2R(height of observer) = square root ((1.760mi squared) + (2 * 3959.0mi * 1.760mi)) = 117.930380 MILES!!!! That puts the MOUNTAIN around 160 miles past the visible HORIZON and 3 to 4 MILES BELOW THE HORIZON ... that is if we lived on a MAGICAL THEORETICAL LEVITATING SPINNING BALL with a radius of ONLY 3,959 MILES.
