  1. I'm a software engineer, and where I work, project managers are some of the MVPs. I don't know how they keep track of so many people, swimlanes, strategies, and yet somehow are able to inspire us geeky engineers to do fun things or work smarter. I massively respect you guys, and at the same time, I admit I don't envy you for your jobs! I've kinda been in a similar spot, where I was hating my job, but felt I couldn't leave due to how I was part of a team that was working on some bleeding-edge stuff at the time, which seemed like an opportunity I'd be foolish to give up. However, I was able to get a spot at the same company with a different team, which made it way easier. Still, it was tough to get up the courage to actually say "This ain't workin'" to my manager.
