  1. Having just picked up my IS 500 as a "daily" (though I work from home, so it's more of an errand car), I definitely vibe with this. Everyone and their mother is telling me to "get PPF, get ceramic coat, wax your wheels, get all-weather mats" and the list goes on. While I plan to do some of those things, namely PPF, I also want to accept that it is gonna get messy. I plan to keep this thing for years and am under no delusions that it'll look the same at 50,000 miles as it did at 50 miles. Some people buy cars to keep them in the garage and eventually sell them, but I plan to enjoy mine. I like that you enjoy yours, too, even though it is an enviable car.

  2.  @305Nick  It is something many people don't like, but I like it. It can be a little rough if you don't drive it the way it wants to be driven. That is, either gently or hard - nothing in between!
