  1. Good points. I've just moved from Kansas City to Atlanta, and I have to say, using the far-right lane is a ticket to boxed-in town especially when traffic is heavy. So many people merge at once on some entrance ramps that I am forced to either slow down or aggressively merge to the left and probably cut someone off. If I pick the slow-down option, it almost always results in my imprisonment in the far-right lane behind folks that are traveling below the speed limit. I admit this is totally due to the fact that people in Atlanta just drive like they are late to a job interview every single day.
