I am. It was around this time 28 years ago that I inadvertently joined a cult, putting my life in danger. I'm watching this to ease my resulting PTSD.

I grew up SDA. I have nothing against the denomination. I attended SDA churches throughout the West Coast, and never had issues. I had only 2 bad experiences with the church; both happened in Hawaii. The first time, I inadvertently joined a cult, putting my life in danger. My landlord physically attacked me, and stalked me for a month. The church turned its back on me. The second time, I was forced to leave a wonderful church in the Seattle area where the pastor saved my life twice, and return to Hawaii, where I had to sit helpless while my niece dropped out of high school to to a cult. I wound up coming to the conclusion that Seventh Day Adventist is not a cult - Christianity is. I can't believe an all-powerful ever-present deity would be so dumb as to not foresee that. My niece should have been able to live with me! I have since left Christianity and became a Buddhist.

@thisistheway7529 - all religions are true, and all are cults. The difference is how they're practiced.
