I have old books listing hostels, and was fascinated by the large number in Jasper and Banff, especially with their proximity to hot springs. Unfortunately, living far away in California and being poor, I was unable to visit. Now I live even farther away, in Hawaii. Hopefully it will all still be there when I get a chance to visit.

  18.  @kzoomin  - I thought 10 cigarettes a day was equal to a smog alert. Distance viability is the problem then. But what you have now is orange skies with twilight at high noon. Street lights have to be on, for people to see. This sounds more like 400 cigarettes a day, to me.
