  8. The government did not put a gun to their heads and force them to behave immorally, drop out of high school, and go on welfare! That program was for people like Richard Wright's mother, who was abandoned by her husband and faced starvation as a result (read his autobiography, "Black Boy"). Idiots who treat the welfare program as an easy way out have no one to blame but themselves.
