  1. what they do teach is all a lie. the civil war wasn't over slavery, not one piece of evidence proves that. Lincoln was in office for 5 years before that even came up. the war was over the 2 parties fighting for 4 decades over taxes, the north had tried to tax everything in the south to pay for the nations debt, that why for 40 years it was a one for one state to keep the power even. Lincoln just went to freeing the slaves as a last ditch to win the war, and whats funny about all of this, by the time the war was over, the south had no man power or no overseas market. since England had already switched to cotton grown in india since the war couldn't ship them none, so the south may have lost the war. but the north won nothing.
