  1. so your system with 6K from your state and a free 15K battery would mean for me not your cost of 21K (after tax break) but 42K. so the same system like your for me went from a 7 year payback to a 14 year payback. and with the system rated to run at 60% at 20 years old. mine without break down would cost $120 a month in electric bills. until i replace it with a new 42K system again.

  2. why not skipped the ads. and compare 2 homes. built and cost the same. one the old way and one your way. the upfront cost plus interest cost of extra loans. and show us how many decades it takes to break even. dont forget replace of yours as it degrades. such as solar losing 10% per year and total replacement after 20 years. seems so much information is offered. and so much more isnt.

  3. what has been the number one pain in the butt for solar? the used of gas as a back up. if they could get gas out lawed people would have to increase the size of solar system they would need to begin with. plus the increase of electric needed to run a stove would also increase the size even further. so buy going up against the gas stove, gas water heater and gas back up heat the solar companies would more than double the need the size of system you would be forced to buy. so no science is needed. just look at the solar companies and solar investors backing this debate. but at least it would kill the street vendors once and for all. but wait didn't these same people get BBQ grills outlawed to forced you to buy gas grills???????
