@pm71241 dude, it's not a conspiracy theory. I think it's funny when facts that are inconvenient, someone is going to claim conspiracy theory. Ironically, sometimes conspiracy theories are true. Lightbulbs burn out because the lightbulb companies conspired to make them this way. The USA went to war with Iraq based on a conspiracy lie about WMDs... And honestly what I am talking about is barely a conspiracy; it's scientific bias that is created by the system probably accidentally. Look, the pressure for scientists to get their papers published is immense. If you're a post doc at a university hoping for tenure, your job depends on getting published. Researching things that people disagree with is a perfect recipe to get your paper rejected. Also, research costs money, and scientists compete for government grant money. If you figure out how to claim that you're researching a serious existential threat, you're way more likely to win that grant. These are all FACTS. You can put them together into whatever theory you want, and make you own conclusions. When climate scientists start making accurate predictions, I will accept that they are right. They do not make accurate predictions... it's post 2020 and the great lakes have not dried out, nor has Manhattan been permanently flooded, the Maldives are doing fine. Ice in Greenland is melting from volcanic activity under the glacier and you just believe shit people tell you because you're a sheep person.
