  2.  @InstigatorDJ  nuclear shell models predicted islands of stability as early as the 1940s. It's covered in undergraduate general physics class. Being said... I don't know what to think about Lazar. I want to believe him, but I guess that's just not the same as being a true believe. He really seems like the real deal.

  5. He may have had a general idea of what was going on with the technology... But without some of the specific details, it really won't work. Laser physics, for instance, requires mirrors aligned on wavelengths of the laser frequency and you gotta have a material that will actually "laze"
