  1. Wandering black holes distort space around them quite a lot and at least one has been spotted, something like 5000 light-years away. I would think that if a wandering black hole showed up anywhere withing a few light years of earth, it would be fairly obvious.

  3. I really think hunanity actually has the technology to do a dyson swarm now. Self replicating bots would be kinda tricky, automated microchip machines require very pure materials... Automated refineries would be a challenge.

  4.  @safeysmith6720  greenhouse effect is dominated by H2O, dude. CO2, at most contributes only 30% and that's being generous. Besides that, why is the earth heating faster at the poles? There's more CO2 and infrared energy at the equator, yet the poles heat up 4x faster? You're just regurgitating ideas that have programmed into you.

Besides, Jesus also told the parable of the talents, those that invested were honored and the one who buried the talents returned exactly what they were given were cast out into the darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. So you gotta invest your talents in addition to believing in Jesus. Did you even read the whole book? Sheesh. There are so many ways you're screwed.   18.  @lombardo141  you don't know if the world is sentient or not, it very well could be. It may have a different emergent property beyond sentience that's beyond our capacity to understand. Do you think your individual braincells are aware of your intelligence? No, one brain cell is not intelligent, but billions working together manifests an emergent property of your self awareness. Just the same, billions of plants, animals, insects, bacteria fungi, archaea, excavata, and whatever could have an emergent property beyond sapience. Purchase some humility, will you?

  21. You are correct sir. Notice that the equitorial regions, the tropics is loaded with so many different species, practically stacked up to and above the tree canopies. Furthermore, the extra CO2 would feed the autotrophic foundation of the food chain, if it really IS humans increasing CO2, it's probably a net benefit.
