  1. how much the greenhouse effect warms the planet has been quantified at 33 degrees. I have looked, but never seen any reasonable arithmetic that explains this. Often, they treat the earth as an ideal black body, which its really not, and well, they never consider convection.. Besides that it has taken 200 years for so-called anthropogenic climate change to increase temps by 1.2 degrees or so. that's really not that fast. some might say thats pretty normal change for an interglacial period. If you choose your axis, scales, and time frame just right, well, it LOOKS really bad.. models that considered CO2 very important to climate change predicted more warming in the equatorial regions and less warming in the poles
