@madmanjoe you could check the data in an unbiased objective way. I recommend reading the Scout Mindset by Julia Galef. It's not about climate change, it's about thinking clearly. Anycase, there is enough evidence to say scientists really don't know what the cause of slight warming trends over the 20th and 21st century are. There ARE some things that suggest strongly that anthropogenic CO2 is not the cause. For example, the tropical troposphere would see a remarkable warming trend if CO2 concentration were a major driver of global climate temperature increases. This is predicted by many of the climate models, however it is not observed. Furthermore, there is evidence that glacial ice mass has increased slightly on the Greenland ice sheet, despite the last few years being "the warmest on record". Why, then, are "scientists" telling of existential doom? I really think it's because it gets clicks... People do really strange things to get rewards, and many aren't aware of hidden biases. I will edit with a link to the tropical troposphere info later. I really hope you become informed, see the issue clearly and make up your own mind.
