  1. Technically speaking... If elemental mercury is bombarded by neutrons, a small fraction of that mercury is transmuted into an unstable isotope of gold. That means the gold created is also radioactive.

  8. Full of crap. This coincides with the Little Ice Age. The oceans COOLED DOWN and the colder oceans were able to absorb more CO2 because the solubility of CO2 increased. Ghengist Kahn did NOT modify the climate by killing tons of people. This is the STUPIDEST IDEA that I have EVER heard. Only a moron would consider this as fact.

I would rather see most politicians be exiled to remote cold parts of the northwest territories where they are forced to write research papers on topics that undermine their world views while living in abject poverty. They are given just enough resources to survive but not enough to be comfortable.

  19. What if there is an upward limit of intelligence? Imaginge someone takes a shower, another takes a bath, someone else jumps in a pool. They all get out of their respective body of water, but any one if the three are not more or less wet than the other... same with intelligence. Someone covered with more water would really make much of a difference...
