  2. This is NOT a breakthrough in fusion science. The scale of energy is hilariously small. I think they put in like 2 megaJoules and got a wee bit over 3 megaJoules out. Sooo... Net one measly megaJoules. What can you do with 1 megajoule? You can walk about 2 miles. There's 2x more energy in the chemistry of a big Mac than what they did here. Oh and they never mentioned the target that holds the fuel pellet was vaporized... Is plated in gold.
