Actually, there's really no maintenance on an electric motor, these are remarkably maintenance free. The gas engine might require some oil changes, but its use is offset by the electric drive train and therefore has more longevity. Batteries also last a lot longer too because the cars computer firmware can optimize the balance of power and charging. Basically, you're wrong.

@kylebeetham3679 no, some solar panels that are run backwards produce a little bit of light, but not enough to generate warmth. The silicone and dopant molecular structure is specifically optimized to use incoming photons to jump an electron potential well, the structure is designed poorly for the reverse, to use electricity to push electrons into a potential well and there by release a photon. Optimization to emit photons gets you another invention, the LED lightbulb. Good on you though, most people don't have the intuition to think about things like this in reverse.

You're spreading misinformation
3
The only way I could see PV panels operating 7x more efficiently is if each panel had a small gas engine running on 'em.
2
Says kia and Hyundai while showing ford's being built.
2
No shit, Sherlock. America invents all the best tech and designs epic hardware. How dare you compare it to a tofu dreg Chinese pos.
2
That would require actual research and work.
2
It called being a full time grifter.
2
No, there's another loser. Just look in a mirror.
2
Only person around here that's mentally deranged is you. There are quite a few PhDs that know CO2 is good for plants and life thrives in warmer wetter conditions.
1
Well, ev this explains your pasty wrinkled completion, the weak beard and sunken eyes. I thought you just had that woman's diseases, lupus.
1
@electricviking we know this is your alt accounts, or you brother, or your gay lover.
1
Oh you mean graphene discovered by Americans
1
And manufacturing technique figured out by Americans?
1
The European governments are incompetent and had plenty of warning about what was on the way if they continued the path that they were on. Tell you what, you go over to China where they have those resort towns to house the Uighers and find out how fair their employment conditions are. The Chinese DO use slave labor. Foxconn just HAD a slave revolt last week. Jackass.
1
If you mean uigyer slave labor, then sure...
1
How safe is that CO2 bladder? If some jackass drives a truck into the dome and you get a huge leak, how many people get asphyxiated?
1
Nuclear could power the world. And the work when the wind doesn't blow. You're daft man.
1
You're no viking, nor are you electric.
1
Nah. Liquid fluoride salt reactors invented in the late 60s are the best. They are good because they don't have any parts in the nuclear loop that are under high pressure. The heat exchanger on the turbine side would run on a CO2 turbine rather than high pressure steam.
1
Solar panels from china is BAD.
1
No, they design the parts to fail all at the same time. It's better that way, it becomes a big hassle to keep fixing your car so you just buy a new one.
1
Uh... It's quite a nice place that wild life has taken back. You stay away with your industrialist zoned crap.
1
Musk hates California. Cost benefit analysis...
1
Nah. Flow batteries are stupid.
1
You're no Viking, nor are you electric. I think you're Australian.
1
Claims like this really need to have sources. If you compare the American diet to the diet of your average Congo cobalt artisinal miner, you would probably find that the guy in the Congo probably eats a lot more natural food, but dies very young. Besides, those are years you probably don't want. The years where you're a grumpy old man and you can't wipe your ass and everyone wishes you would just die already.
1
Solar panels are ugly and wind turbines kill birds and vikings aren't electric.
1
Uh.... Prosperity is success in terms of material goods. By definition, having lots of stuff prosperity. Happiness and contentment are immaterial as in spiritual, not material.
1
@josdesouza if you make being poor comfortable enough, no one will produce anything. If everyone has shit tons of money, everything will cost shit tons of money. You don't need a government to give you an allowance, child. Learn something new, a marketable skill and you will be just fine.
1
@rogerk.8600 no, he changed the definition of prosperity.
1
@rockets4kids no, crack is an addictive drug. Consumerism is just buying crap for the sake of buying crap. Might have a little dopamine hit in there, but it's rarely addictive. Here, maybe you should try crack and consumerism for a fair comparison.
1
You're not a Viking, you sound like an Aussie.
1
If it were easy peasy, we would have done it already.
1
Last longer then explode and kill your children.
1
All he does is read articles he didn't research or write. It's barely worth the time.
1
We have dumbass laws that challenge common sense. It's 20% or so, just about tied with nuclear. Coal will never die.
1
Poorly explained and he did not mention selling the electricity. More than 90% of the video was carbon offset, Ukrainian war, word salad.
1
In 2020 to 2021, there's 10% of your energy is from solar.
1
What a pile of garbage.
1
I know how they made the batteries last 20% longer. They told the batteries to work harder or they would expose the batteries watch your dumbass videos.
1
Another poorly researched and deceptively edited piece of propaganda. I see Alex Jones was right when I see the electric viking. They managed to turn the frogs gay.
1
Alt account
1
7 times more efficient, by what measurement? Complicated solar equations, so complicated, you need a highschool diploma to solve them.
1
Why would you waste the energy? You can just bury the plastic. It's easier to make graphite from coal. Just do it the way China does it if you want to actually compete.
1
The only reason WHY they take a long long time to build is because they're all custom jobs. If we could get enough research done on nuclear technology, it would get a lot cheaper.
1
That's not a piece of graphite, This IS a piece of graphite!
1
Oh you mean Government Motors ?
1
You are neither electric nor a Viking. Also... China is currently in an economic collapse that started months ago with Evergrand. Combine this with the "let it rot" and "lying flat" movements, no one is going to HAVE any money to buy a car.
1
71% of your energy comes from fossil fuels. Just about 1.1 million cars are EVs with a total of about 21 million cars. You got a long way to go, son. Also, you do know that those PV panels were assembled in China with slave labor? Look it up, man.
