Democracy literally means rule by the people. It has nothing to do with elections and voting; these are only polling mechanisms to figure out WHAT the people want the rules to be. What we have now is rule by the people wealthy enough to buy their way into office. We had ONE GUY who was rich enough to buy his way into POTUS and he was also looking out for the people. That guy was TRUMP and he wasn't popular with the establishment
