Ryobi here would just take it, send it in to the service section and let them have the head scratching moments figuring out how that was done. Seen them come in with pistons mashed to powder, conrods visiting outside, but in half never.

No, just had to use the service department a few times. There is a massive dumpster out back with all the ones in it that were either scrapped as not repairable, or were stripped for parts to fix others. Most common is running without oil, or using the wrong fuel or oil in them, or just being generally abused.
