  1. Yes Mithras was roman miltary cult which was a cohesion betwen the persian god mithra and Roman version of Persus. So yes but it has no reference to anything christ like before hand. Then you have Persian god version of mithra who was the god of oaths, then was pantheon of god in thebablyon religion and then it was inflected into the sumerian religon as something else. Again you seem to be getting you info from Franz Cumont not a good source.

  2. Erm You don't know what youa re talking about. SOrry Mithras came after Jesus especaillyt he 25th part as did the cult of Sol Invictus. You are talking about Hellenization that did not happen in Judaism Christ comes fromJudiasm thats all. History really you really dont understand how it works do you they take sourcesd for a event, see whther its hisotrically discussed like for example the crucifixtion which is attest to in numerous soruces.
