@catdog9572 And weren't French demographics in the late '30s absolutely shit, because a highly restrictive leave policy during WWI meant French soldiers were far more likely to have died childless than British or German soldiers?

@sercravenmohead3631 Are you confusing the Ruhr with the Saar? The Ruhr is on the east side of the Rhine, and over 300 km north of where the French would have crossed the border.
