@theresa1305 Do you think Putin may have a hand in America's crisis with asylum seekers crossing the Mexican border? I'm thinking of how Putin got his toady in Minsk to fly Middle Eastern refugees into Belarus and then push them across the Polish border.

@GannDolph I don't understand why Republicans would be hostile to Venezuelan refugees: as refugees from a left-wing tyranny (like the Cuban exiles six decades earlier) wouldn't they be likely Republican voters if they became citizens?

@jimbøb-i9q Actually Trump supporters tend to be above average in income: my thought is that they're anti-environmentalists who see Putin (boss of the world's most powerful petrostate) as their champion.

@dolorescooper5943 One of the biggest gripes of Trump supporters AIUI is "inflation": perhaps they believe the world can't do without Russian oil and gas?
