  2.  @DogsAndBaskets  way to willingly not understand how science works, but because you think god was around before man you cannot conceive of the idea that at some point ppl came up with the idea of gods based purely on their inability to understand a great many things about the world, mainly relating to weather/food availability, and how to cope with losing loved ones, coming along after the fact and asking for some proof of god/s does not constitute a belief structure

  3.  @DogsAndBaskets  what you are trying to do is muddy the waters between the definitions of "faith" and "belief" YOU need faith to believe in god, my not believing in your god requires nothing from me but a refusal to accept the existence of something based purely on conjecture, you are either purposely failing to grasp a simple concept or you are just a brainwashed idiot passing the collection plate

  4.  @DogsAndBaskets  NO, faith is nonsensical, not belief, i can believe in gravity and it makes a lot of sense because I see gravity work all day every day, if i believe the earth rotates around the sun, there is a lot of evidence to back that up, and so it makes sense, believing in a magic man in the sky due to a book that also claims disease and floods and many other natural phenomena are the works of said sky man is completely ludicrous, we know what microbes are now, we know about global weather patterns, how much of the bible does science need to show to be baloney before you realize all of it is? you don't need to believe in hell to think that "do unto others" is a perfectly reasonable ideal

  5. when you are standing in a line of ppl there's a good chance one of them is around your height and is just looking forward at the back of your head, because most everyone's facing the same way in a line, that's HOW THEY WORK, seems like a very stupid claim that it could be psychic phenomena
