  1.  @shooterjenkins7089  It's incredibly funny whenever patriotic songs have lyrics like that because red, white and blue is literally the most common color scheme for national flags so you could be talking about at least a few dozen flags. I guess it makes the song easy to export.

  3. I remember thinking that song was incredibly cringe and an obvious ploy to try to gain sympathy since it played on literally every Eurovision trope after Russia threw a hissyfit over Conchita Wurst.

  5. Having stock footage from a military exercise play in the background of your concert is such a boring and cringe thing to do, at least make a dark synth edit or something. Even Rishi Sunak could make a Little Dark Age edit it's not that difficult.

  6. They also weren't actually banned, they were personally sanctioned, meaning that western companies could no longer pay them and thus those companies removed them from their platforms. It's totally possible for these artists to upload their songs on any western platform so long as they don't recieve any revenue from them and ultimately it was their choice to not do so. Their free speech rights were in no way impeded, though it should also be said that rights typically only apply to citizens of that country or at least people currently in that country. Most countries don't try to apply their laws abroad unless some sort of special treaty is in place, and obviously there's not a lot of diplomacy between the EU and Russia right now.
