  3.  @Monkofthecaribbean  the only thing Elon has really done is market Teslas really well and thus helped accelerate the growth of electric vehicles since his degree is in marketing not engineering. The guy might pretend that he'd a mechanical engineer but he doesn't have any relevant education nor does he hold any patents other than a patent for the bodywork of the Tesla S and frankly every time he tries to talk about engineering or science he embarrasses himself. I mean he doesn't really even believe in climate change anymore so he has clearly outlived his usefulness.

This has just been the case for everything, Europe and North America are the two biggest consumer markets in the world, if in order to comply with sanctions companies have to choose between operating there or Russia, a country with a population similar to Japan but the GDP per Capita of Ukraine then they're obviously going to chose Europe and North America.
