  3. Tennessee , Kentucky and West Virginia are good choices. Farther south— really humid and hot— I tried there. I swam in a mountain river in Georgia and it was lukewarm. In the west— eastern Washington , eastern Oregon , South Dakota, Idaho. Water is a problem in Arizona and Nevada. Texas- high taxes. Colorado- very liberal due to Californians and code enforcement on land sucks big time. I know more about Washington state and Idaho so ask away.

I’ve been doing estate managing, tree work, garden planning, and more. If you have any trade skills, you will always find work. If you pick a place near enough to resorts, plenty of jobs. To live in Mexico, you need to be fluent in Spanish. To find decent work.
