  9. Look into using clay pots and candles. There are some videos on this. Be prepared with layering clothes, wool socks, etc. I was wearing a wool knit cap and a scarf and sweater at home. We only heat the kitchen/bath area in winter- the area with pipes that might freeze. Good luck.

  16. There was one where the landlord was pushed down stairs onto concrete. Broke his head open. He was a nice guy too, offering extremely low rent.
