  1. Wolves don’t go after packrats, deer, squirrels, mice, deer- balancing the “ecosystem “. They go after dogs, cats, foals, lambs, goats. The easy targets. The pregnant cows get ripped open. Horses are in pastures , easy targets. I suppose city people won’t care until they get attacked on vacation in the wolf areas. A man was killed by a cougar on a bike trail that goes through a suburb of Seattle. I’m not afraid of bears because they generally avoid humans. But wolves hunt in packs. Enjoy.
