@govys85 I know a lot of people living out of schoolies. I still have my camper van- lived out of it during Covid years.

I wish everything wasn’t of the past- I don’t like only looking backward. When I first moved to Seattle, everyone kept saying - “ you should have seen it 20 years ago. It was really something”. And now that’s 20 + years ago. I guess I should tell the newbies the same. 😂

@TomWalters-h4n true. I keep looking for land - out by the coast, out east in Okanogan- but it feels crowded.

@TomWalters-h4n the Elwha hot springs- my first weekend exploration when I got to Seattle. I kept my horse out at ocean Shores for a year and camped out at the stable every week. The development at Seabrook- I used to keep my horse in Normandy Park and the owners of that home owned that land - I used to visit it often, so beautiful when it still had forest. I brought friends and siblings there and said- “this place is for sale, we could all chip in to buy it. “ But no one could see why it would be wonderful. It makes me sad to see it now. I found a parcel on the ocean and made the mistake of mentioning it to a friend. Who bought it. Not a friend now😂. I haven’t been out there this year - i still love that area. The remoteness is what has preserved it this long.

@TomWalters-h4n I know where that is but I never went in. At the time I liked free. 😂

@TomWalters-h4n I remember the first few times I went there, the hike wasn’t too long. Then one year it became a very long hike. 4 miles? I remember the first time I went to Cougar Hot Springs in Oregon- nice hike, natural surroundings. We were the only ones there. Then I went years later and it was so developed, lots of fencing. Too many people. I have a dream of drilling for my own hot spring. 😂
