  2. People used to converse and tell stories around the dinner table- and have pot after pot of tea after dinner. I’m so glad I was able to experience that.

  5. If you don’t use your brain, this is what can happen. Can you get her interested in any hobby or craft work? Or listening to a book of stories on audio? Can she get out to walk? TV is used as a substitute for company, I think. Bless you for trying.

  6. I got rid of it when it went digital— and I saw the government pushing those boxes so no one would escape it. People still try to give me their old tvs when they get bigger ones. 😂

  10. My father hated to see his kids in front of the tv. He sometimes just walked in front of the screen and tried to wake us from the trance. He pushed us outdoors on weekends.
