  5. You might like Santa Fe- I was there recently visiting family. Seattle is definitely not safe— I speak as a resident who remembers how great it used to be. You can do a loop around the Olympic Peninsula, enjoy the national park and state parks— Mount Rainier, Mount St Helens-but avoid anything close to the city. I made a 1 minute video of what you can find all around Seattle. I left out the beggars who came out and tried to get a “donation”. I know there are five free meals a day on offer so they don’t need money except for drugs and alcohol.

  8. Tacoma is nicer to visit than Seattle- before lockdowns, I went there to enjoy the museums, shop at the bookstores, walk along the waterfront, buy from a bakery owned by a veteran. I never go to Seattle because my car is going to be broken into if I can even find a parking spot. All the stores are Big Corporate instead of small independent shops.
