  1. This reminds me a lot of the anorexic girls I knew who kept their households in constant chaos. If I had to deal with it, I would get counseling for myself and my husband, not just the daughter. I would request for her to view the full videos of the surgeries that are done and interviews with people who are a few years post-surgery. I would ask her to write a letter acknowledging all this and that I had asked her to postpone irreversible damage. I would have to set an emotional boundary because I don’t want to suffer even more , and all the recriminations later.
