There is a developer here who has spent hundreds of thousands on a few acres for lawyers and feasibility studies and hearings etc etc to build 140 apartments. It’s been three years now and eventually I expect he will give up and move on to where he can actually build and make a profit. To the north, an empty property has gone through a number of costly proposals- two apartment towers were proposed. Ixnay. The land is still empty. It would not surprise me that it’s corruption in city hall.
