  3. People make up business cards so their regulars pay in cash and pay less. Also look up other side hustles. Mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. Property cleanups after renters leave. It’s good money. Shop around for dentists. They will start getting desperate for patients soon since so many are unemployed.

  4. I’ve talked to lots of old people who grew up in the Depression. A lot of them had family farms or orchards they could return to, pooling their efforts to stay alive. Sometimes 4 families in one house, the teenagers living in the barn.

  7. My. Coworkers always complain about money stress. And all have expensive big new cars that are costly to fix. They run out for to-go food and Starbucks. I drive an old Ford and bring my own lunch and a thermos of coffee.
