  4. Talk to your local church. They can sometimes help with utilities money, might find small jobs. I do yard work, babysitting, property cleanups, sell things on Facebook marketplace.

Nobody Wants to Read Your S**t is a very short book but packed with hard-won knowledge. That everything is a story- from business to books to commercials to movies. Bless you for being a caring teacher.

  13. I thought of another way to use YouTube in class- assign them to find a video on a certain topic and explain why it works or why it doesn’t- imagery, sound, script. Are intros useful or annoying? Can you design a logo? How do you name a channel? Is it good to have a niche?

  14. I don’t see any social skills being learned in schools. Homeschool groups do way better in every way.

  15. There are books on that. You can try to find an assistant bartender job or offer to be an intern a few nights a week. You can join the Eagles- seems like there is one in every town. Get experience there.
