  4. I’ve offered people the chance to talk to people in my business - take one of these people out to lunch, have good questions, know about the company to prepare. It’s almost guaranteed these executives will help you find a job or a connection- they are happy to help. Just remember to say thank you with a letter. But young people seem so lazy. Someone asked me to show their daughter the kind of work I do. Neither one said thank you despite my giving half a day of my valuable time. It was weird.
