Building communities is the future as Glorious has written. That’s what I’m saving for— I have a dream😄. There are lots of young families who want to home school and grow their own food. But they can’t afford the acreage. Imagine a situation where they have free rent on a parcel in return for a few hours per day given to the community. Just some thoughts.

I made a list of some of the work that is possible. The list is in a pinned comment under my video “Working in Freedom”. I’m always looking for work myself. In the spring I’m going to sign up for a class on fighting wildfires— some of it is just dragging branches and brush to a chipper truck or driving a truck. If you have a laptop and internet, you can teach English online. You can be a respite worker for a caretaker who needs a day or two off from attending a relative. If you are near a marina, you can get work cleaning and polishing Boats.

Omg. I made the same mistake. Key West — and i got there in time for everything shutting down. They are paying $20 an hour to clean rooms, more for other service jobs— but I can’t make myself do that drive again. I’ll check out your videos.

It sounds like you already have the ideal situation. And you can save up for your future. I used to car camp with a tent for my vacations— as far as Maine from New York.

@tinastheoutsider Thank you, I'm hanging in there! Outside the cities, I had no trouble overnighting even though my van isn't stealthy.
