  2. The curse of high intelligence, sounds like. My goal is land and an intentional community of independent-minded self-motivated people. Then link to other communities so people can still travel around and satisfy curiosity.

  4. Pick the right state and area of that state. I knew a young couple that bought a shack on 20 acres in a far rural area, worked 5 days a week near the city ( where they just rented a room to sleep). They are paying off that land fast, fixing up the shack to be livable. Then they can afford to live off a rural job at minimum wage. Or consider joining an intentional community.

  29. People go for walks there to get exercise out of the weather. Especially seniors. Lots of mothers with preschoolers find it safer than the park. There are waiting areas set up for kids.

  46. I look for for 50% deals on meat and poultry, then make dog food from scratch. Healthier for the dog and lower vet bills. Add lentils, peas, rice, carrots.
