  1. I’m very impressed with a lot of the construction and also the planning that was done for earthquakes and tsunami. I’m in an area that can get a 9.2 but there is no preparation really. People are told to have earthquake kits but few actually have them. Buildings are retrofitted to collapse on themselves. There are tsunami sirens but no truly accessible routes. The sand peninsula town of Ocean Shores in Washington will be washed away by a small tsunami.

  2. What a great life you have arranged. I’ve looked for land here in remote places but it is still so expensive.
