  2. I volunteered at the food banks and tent camps around Seattle. There is plenty of food for all. There are hot meals served at many locations. There are designated tent camps that are organized. There is even a place called Camp Second Chance with tiny homes, lots of help for those who want to kick drugs and alcohol, and get job training. But lots of people just want to do drugs, drink alcohol, sleep, not work. That’s why it’s better to volunteer than hand out dollars. The homeless industrial complex is a real thing— lots of high salaries for organizers.

  3. I’ve been in that situation. You are dealing with it bravely and creatively. We have an unofficial mini-commune If you ever want to look for work in Seattle/Tacoma area. I’m on the road for work but I’ll be back there soon.
