  13. tax is not spent by the central government, it does not go in to a pot that the government then uses - the government creates the money it spends and destroys the money it collects in tax - the pervasive ideology is that the government needs taxes to spend money

Its worth bearing in mind that animals in the wild bring children in to the world in terrible conditions, a human who doesn’t have their finances in order is still a hundred times more comfortable than these animals yet we wouldn’t say they were irresponsible for bringing a child in to the world, all living beings face adversity and rhe fact that we have been so comfortable for the last 60 years or so and that things are becoming less comfortable now shouldn’t really factor in to having children in my opinion

  15. Money can’t not be a debt-based system, modern monetary theory is the lens that people need to view this through - taxation does not go into a pot and pay for government spending
