  1. I'm glad Trump got in, but I truly fear that it's not going to matter in the long term. The math is the math on our deficit. Presidents don't have that much power over it, nor central bank policy. Social Security and Pensions are bankrupting the country and voters don't care; that's just a fact. So politicians (similar to voters) will kick the can into the 2030s until everything breaks. Expect inflation resurgence multiple times in coming years. Trump isn't going to save the demographic induced problems.

  2.  @Martytroutman  True, but I don't think the rising inequalities will change. I feel like all we'll end up doing is exchanging one oligarchy for another. Things need to be decentralized, but with a world population of 8 Billion; short chance of that happening.

  3. They are doing the same thing to the US and Western Europe that they did before the Russian Revolution. Trying to starve nations of money and resources; driving up poverty and crime. When the time is right; they will pull out all their investments and those nations will devolve into chaos. Gangs will rule the streets and an ignorant and angry populace will elect a totalitarian government to take full control and save them.
