  3. Well, inflation will make an aggressive resurgence probably in 2026/2027. The FED has no choice, otherwise they risk interest payments going too high. They are planning to push thru future recessions with higher inflation and higher GDP on foreign labor/lower wages.

  5.  @lazymass  Every first world nation is doing worse than the US. This is because the USD is the Reserve currency; the Rome of global monetary policy. Therefore all trades/goods are more expensive downwind of the US.

  6. Well, it's not like they have a choice. Pensions, Social Security, and Medicare are driving the debt crisis due to bad monetary policy and demographic problems. Any politician that touches those items loses his seat in office. Americans want the can to be kicked and older generations don't give a darn about younger ones.
