  1. Well, people become more tribal when their environments are too radically changed in a short period of time. The entire point of a conservative personality is to retract on ideas that could end civilization. The opposite for liberal personalities. The one thing that both sides don't exactly count on is the necessity for destructive imbalances. Both of which side against. Assuming that the status quo of humanity will just keep going and going is a bit historically ignorant I would say. There will be a correcting force that destabilizes everything. Once again, the age old means of supply/demand will be in need. This is what ultimately maintains balance; not a civilizational structure of man.
