Putin is invading Ukraine because NATO has been poking the bear since 2014. The Obama Administration helped orchestrate the coup that year and armed Ukrainians with firearms and anti-aircraft missiles to fight pro-Russian separatist groups mainly in the east. Could you imagine if China had conducted a similar operation in Mexico against the US? I honestly don't blame Putin for launching an invasion.

@oceanrocks Yeah, and Nordic countries don't have to take care of 50 million patients per year. If you invoke a single-payer system; hospitals will get swamped. Healthcare workers will walk off the job everywhere in the nation. We don't have the staffing to afford that kind of societal cost; forget about the money.

@BrandonMalveaux8 Construction workers get approx $14-22 depending on location, services, contracts, etc. It's not bad money, but it's not what it used to be. CDL industry is also going downhill. I just got a job offer for $71k. I got pay $70k in 2019. It's a ripoff.

@chriskleinbach-vd5ch All you'll get is shortages; you need to study the effect of subsidization. Plus, you largely have socialism thru medicare/medicaid and Molena Health services. The problem in America is the demand of sick people and the supply of workers make it ridiculously costly.

Plus, US sanctions are making Brent and West Texas Crude contracts skyrocket. This has nothing to do with Russia and everything to do with the US Government. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do. Most people don't understand the fundamentals of why wage value is going down. In order for wages to stay level, debt and GDP have to grow linear. I can tell you with certainty that debt has outgrown GDP for the last 40 years. When this happens, prices go up and wages stagnate.

@dwightmanne Building a wall will do nothing at this point. Federal government is PAYING organizations $15k (per person) to bring these immigrants to sanctuary cities. They can fly, be bused, or walk thru the open gates. A wall will do nothing, unless the government shuts off the money and allows law enforcement to do their jobs!

Plus, despite Trump's actions in some areas; he was anti-war across the board. Somehow we ended up with the Ukrainian conflict all over again after Biden resumed Obama's legacy in that part of the world.

The entire global economy is destabilizing due to the poor choices of the Federal Reserve. Stagflation mixed with a demographic collapse is only the start. We are certainly in the early stages of hyperinflation. The world doesn't have 10 years under the United States fiscal policy.

This kind of behavior behind the wheel has gotten exponentially worse in the last several years. We're seeing fatalities increase about 10% PER YEAR. People are losing their minds over the economy and state of the world. Many of us are cutting back and slowing down to make ends meet. Some people are stepping on the peddle and losing their minds.
