  2. Yep, people in my own family were claiming there would be a (Covid baby boom) in 2020. I honestly thought it was ludicrous and a lousy prophecy. Gen X and Baby Boomers that theorized this are completely disconnected from the depressed and suicidal reality of the younger generations. I knew from the start that there was no way it would result in a population boom.

  3. It's a world-wide phenomenon. You can thank birth-control, women's entry to the work-force, hormones in the water and food supply, and narcissistic technology. We stopped progressing as a society some time ago. Can you think of anything in the last 20 years that has actually 'improved' your life quality? We are going to innovate ourselves into extinction.

  4.  @JMHCLash  The Middle Ages were nothing BUT centralized feudalistic authority. Of course nothing is going to get innovated; it will threaten their power.
