My biggest problem with this conflict is that it was undoubtedly instigated by the Obama Administration in 2014. We helped organize a coup that overthrew the Ukrainian Government and sold them firearms and anti-aircraft missiles; that in turn ended up being used to fight a border war against Russians in the east. While at the same time, Zelinskyy was using the new Ukrainian regime to muscle it's leverage against Russian residents in the east. Though no media outlet will talk about that of course. Russia had enough and now we're involved in a full scale war. Could you imagine if China had overthrown the Mexican government and sold them weapons to fight a border war against the US? Then the US invaded and the media presented it as "fascist American aggression?" That's exactly what is unfolding. Though you can't stop young boys from wanting to go out and fight, until the moment their guts are hanging out and they are truly wondering what the hell they are doing there. The Ukrainian crisis went exactly as planned and Americans ate it up just like Covid. The transitions from narrative to narrative was flawless and I am truly ashamed to see it happen again.
