@nn123654 It used to be that way. This problem is national. I guarantee there are still good schools, but even my public high school in an upper class suburban area is having major problems with student crimes and behavioral problems.

Teachers are leaving schools for the same reason that medical professionals are leaving hospitals. 1. No real wage increase/incentives since 2019; despite 42%+ inflation, according to USD M2 Supply. 2. Behavioral problems from parents, students, patients. 3. Increased work load; doing the work of 3 people. 4. Reduction in benefits across the board. I was driving for Anheuser in 2020 when they cut my (unpaid vacation) from 13 days to 8 annually. Mind you, I was working 6 days a week; 12 hours a day. I left within 6 months of them making that change. I began doing gig jobs like Door-Dash instead so I could help raise my son and spend more time with my family.

The kids are basically drug addicts with 6-10 hours of screen time each day. Those digital platforms are bonding to your kids dopamine receptors and making them slaves. When you take it away; it's like taking heroine away from an addict. Ban the freaking devices please.

At the end of the day, people see what they want to see. The video may blatantly show a polar bear, but some will argue that it's a grizzly. Unfortunately, bell curves of intelligence are an inevitability and ignorance rules the herd down to the lowest common denominator...

This is the result of an equity system mixed with Reaganomics. They remove your pay incentives and increase your work-load to ensure that all kids get jammed thru the system so that the districts look good. All of this comes back to Government's involvement with education from K-College. The quality of education is failing because the paycheck has already been given from the Feds to the district administration. They are paid and they DO NOT care!
