@Violet-fj8yd Not really any common sense. I wouldn't trust a dog I didn't know, sure. But normal dogs don't jump into cribs and attack babies. Sounds like the dog was vicious and feral; created by vicious and feral people. I've been around and seen enough in my life to know when people are full of bs. Guaranteed; the father was an abuser of the dog and/or child. Mom is covering up for him.

@exitscreaming4637 Normal dogs don't jump into baby cribs and attack. I've heard the 'good and loving dog' excuse too many times. I guarantee you that this dog was feral, antisocial, and vicious. That's how you get this kind of situation.

A normal dog doesn't attack a newborn in their cage. That's what a vicious and feral dog does; created by feral and vicious owners. 68 years should have also taught you that dogs are a product of their owners. Blaming the dog completely for his erratic behavior is a scapegoat.

Did your family beat the dog?

Sounds like either the dog was vicious OR the dad killed the kid and they are trying to blame the dog. I've seen enough in my life to know that this story stinks. I've watched people beat their animals in the backyard and then claim they are 'loving' when they attack somebody.

Many pet owners are liars that will beat, muzzle, and electrocute their animals. Only to turn around and say they were 'peaceful and loving' when they attack someone. I've seen this too many times, especially where people have video evidence of animal abuse. People are horrible (as usual) and insist on blaming the pet.

Too many idiots in this comment section. Dogs are products of their owners. People beat, electrocute, and muzzle their dogs. After they attack somebody, they claim it was peaceful and loving. People do this all the time because there are a lot of horrible people in society. I've heard the same excuses over and over again. Dogs don't randomly attack family members if trained and raised properly.
