  1. Shocker! For those that are new to politics; most people trying to get into office are complete scumbags. The ones that succeed are usually criminals. I can't make this kind of stuff up. If you trace the backstory of most elected politicians (especially on a state level). You'll find that they are either trailer trash that ended up racking millions in loans OR they were given a large inheritance by their parents. These positions always attract the worst kinds of people. Political positions should mandate a personality and ethics test imo

  3. Well, their hands are tied. If they go one way; right wing zealots show up with lawsuits. If they go the other way; the ACLU and NAACP show up with lawsuits. Lawyers are bloodthirsty!
